8542 Wooden Ladders
Ladders can be so useful in a cage for pet birds! A lot of people know that most hookbills love climbing around on ladders - but did you know that many other pet birds enjoy using them too?
You will hear some say that it is no good offering a ladder to birds who do not climb, like canaries and most finches - but there are many other ways that a ladder can be both useful and fun for these birds, too!
Try hanging a larger ladder sideways by one side, with the rest of the ladder hanging downwards, so that the lower side forms a perch, with the rungs making perfect perch dividers. Smaller birds also enjoy it when you secure both ends of the ladder to make a high 'bridge' between two spots in the cage, and will use ladders for perching and recreation when placed in a more traditional configuration, as well.
We consider the wooden ladders we use to be among the more useful and adaptable of cage accessories. They come in a wide variety of sizes and prices, as you can see by our list. Why not get your bird(s) one or more, today? See a larger picture.
